ironXS is a program being offered to Victorian year 10 and 11 students by the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, the research partner of Royal Children's Hospital. After an education session, students will be offered a simple test to determine their risk of developing a condition called haemochromatosis - a detectable, preventable and treatable genetic disease.
